In this picture-book retelling of an African folk tale, Mufaro`s daughters, Nyasha and Manyara, are both beautiful, but he doesn`t see that they have very different personalities--Nyasha is kind and gentle while Manyara is mean and spiteful. When the King announces that he is seeking a bride, Mufaro sends him both of his daughters, in the belief that only a king could choose between two such beauties.
