Steel wire mask, 'Regal Wisdom'

This regal steel wire mask by Fabio Silveira is called Akua-Kitari, meaning person rich in wisdom in the Kimbundo language of Angola. Silveira's admiration for contemporary as well as traditional African art is evident in the mask's unique stylizations.
